Welcome to the Andover Archers 'ADVENT' World Record Status Shoot Sunday 13th December 2009 |

Andover Archers are pleased to announce that following the success of last years shoot the December 'Advent' Shoot is back again this year The shoot will take place at Valley Leisure's indoor sports hall, where it was last held last year. The entire hall will be used for the event, and the sports centre's own catering facilities will be providing tea, coffee, soft drinks and food for the archers and their quests, in an area adjacent to the main shooting hall. The shoot will consist of an Combined F.I.T.A, being 5 dozen arrows at 25 metres on a 60cm face, and 5 dozen arrows at 18 metres on a 40cm face. See shoot information for full details of faces. As this is a combined F.I.T.A, there will be NO SINGLE ROUNDS available. World Record Status has been granted by G.N.A.S. for the FITA 25m and FITA 18m rounds, plus National Record Status for FITA 25m and FITA 18m combined FITA rounds.

It is with regret that the committee announces the cancellation of the 'Advent' shoot on the 13th December. Those archers that have already entered, will receive a full refund. |
