'ADVENT SHOOT' |

Andover Archers pleased to announce that December 'Avent' Shoot has risen from the ashes. Initial discussions took place in October by our own Chris Baxendale and the Chief Executive of Valley Leisure, Mr Derrick Jefferies, then followed up by Paul Flippance our Tournament Organiser, regarding the exact facilities that we need and the format of the shoot. The shoot will take place on Sunday the 9th December 2007, in the indoor sports hall at the sports centre. The entire hall will be used for the event, and the sports centre's own catering facilities will be providing tea, coffee, soft drinks and food for the archers and their quests, in an area adjacent to the shooting hall. The shoot will consist of an Combined F.I.T.A, being 5 dozen arrows at 25 metres on a 60cm face, and 5 dozen arrows at 18 metres on a 40cm face. World Record Status has been granted by G.N.A.S.
