Andover Archers Awarded Grant Testway Transform is the community fund-raising arm of Testway Housing. It believes in investing in people to make stronger communities. Testway Transform Money Box Fund has been set up to help community groups help the community. By giving grants to help community projects, Testway Transform will help improve the lives of people and communities. Over the last couple of months Paul Flippance has been working with Paula Deverill (Testway Charity Co-ordinator) and Testway Housing sponsor, Jean Barker to prepare the club's application to the fund. Jean Barker (an archer herself) has visited the club and met the committee members, along with other members of the club. Following this visit the application was made. The Testway Transform panel sat on the 19th May to decide the grants to be given. It is with great pleasure that I can report that the club has been awarded the sum of £1,500.00. This grant will be used to provide much improved training equipment for the beginner and novice courses, as well as being used for the many community events that our club participate in. Andover Archers, Andover Disabled Archers and the Andover Junior Archers will all benefit from this grant as a whole. It goes without saying, that the Club Committee and the Members thank Testway Transform, who can be assured that the grant will be put to good use.
