Travelling from the East (Basingstoke/M3/A34/A303) Travelling along the A303 Westbound (towards Amesbury & Exeter) IGNORE ALL junctions to Andover (staying on the A303), until you see the signs for Andover & Newbury A343 – Devizes A342 – Marlborough A346. Leave the A303 at this junction. At the end of the slip road, take the third exit signposted Ring Road – Newbury – Marlborough – Devizes – Portway Ind. Estate.

At the next roundabout, (the other side of the A 303) take the second exit off the roundabout signposted Ring Road – Town Centre – Newbury A343. Continue along the Ring Road (passing “Stannah Lifts”) on your left hand side. Continue over the next roundabout (still signposted Ring Road – Newbury A343). Continue along the Ring Road and “Charlton Sports and Leisure Centre” will be on your left-hand side. At the next roundabout take the first exit, signposted Charlton, Hatherden & Tangley (road name – Goch Way). At the next roundabout, take the first exit, signposted Charlton, Hatherden & Tangley, & as you exit the roundabout you will enter the village of Charlton. You will then approach a small roundabout in front of a pub “The Royal Oak” – turn right and follow the road along (with the church on your right hand side), DO NOT TURN OFF this road, and continue along, driving out of the village. |
