Get Active Andover Sports Fair Last Saturday the 28th April, Andover Archers took part in the Andover Sports Fair held at the recreational ground in Vigo Road. 'Sportandover' in association with it's many partners, aim to encourage more links with schools and work places so that more of us have the opportunity to participate in sport, participation by our children by doing some ourselves, we stand a far greater chance of a healthier future. Our members (Paul, Tim, Dawn, Martyn, Mark, and Helen) organised the 'have-a-go' for people attending the fair. Both young and old took part during the hour or so session. In total over 100 participants took part, and a very good response came from them. Many of the 'Have-a-goers' were interested in having a more formal connection with the club, and we wait to see this possibly through the contact address on the web-site.
